Wallet

A Wallet is a single portfolio container tied to one brokerage account. Opening a wallet gives you a tabbed interface to explore every aspect of that account — from live positions to imported trade history.

Wallet Tabs

Overview

The default tab when you open a wallet. It shows:

  • Active positions — all currently open lots with current price, unrealised P&L, cost basis, and weight in the portfolio.
  • Portfolio summary — total invested capital, free funds, and overall portfolio value.
  • Position cards — click any position to see lot-level detail, entry dates, average cost, and a link to the associated trade idea (if one exists).

Use this tab as your primary daily check on what you hold and how each position is performing.

Analytics

Aggregated performance analytics for the wallet, including:

  • Portfolio history chart — equity curve over time, showing how the total portfolio value has evolved.
  • Allocation breakdown — how capital is split across sectors, asset types, or individual holdings.
  • P&L attribution — which positions have contributed the most (or least) to realised and unrealised returns.
  • Holding-period analysis — breakdown of positions by short- vs. long-term holding duration.

Transactions

A chronological ledger of every trade lot recorded in the wallet:

  • Buy and sell transactions with date, price, quantity, and commission.
  • Realised P&L for each matched close transaction (FIFO lot allocation).
  • Filter and sort by date range, symbol, or transaction type.

Watchlist

A per-wallet watchlist of assets you are monitoring but have not yet traded. Add any ticker here to track its price movement alongside your open positions without creating a position.

Position History

Closed positions — trades that have been fully exited. Each row shows:

  • Entry and exit dates, prices, and quantities.
  • Realised P&L and percentage return.
  • Holding period (days held) and long-term / short-term capital gains classification.

This tab is the authoritative record of all completed trade cycles in the wallet.

Importer

The gateway for bringing external broker data into Finvee. See Import Data for full instructions on how to export and import reports from each supported broker.

The Importer tab shows:

  • Broker panels — one panel per supported broker (XTB, Robinhood, Interactive Brokers), each with an Import report file button.
  • Import history — a table of all previous import jobs with status (Completed, Duplicate Skipped, Failed), row counts, and timestamps.

After a successful import, newly created positions appear immediately in the Overview tab.
